WEEK 08
This week was really both an inspiring and motivational lesson. Now these are some of the awesome things I learned from the video lessons.
As an entrepreneur, I learned, you can do anything you set your heart upon. Looking at the example of the Nephi, a Book of Mormon prophet, his brothers ridiculed him when he tried building a ship to sail through the great waters. With God and hard work, the ancient holy scriptures, the Book of Mormon, records, he was able to build the ship. Why? Because he trusted in the Lord. As an entrepreneur, you need luck and the Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t work on your own strength. Subject to the whispering of the Holy Spirit to know what to do and what not to do. If you include the Lord in everything you do, He will increase your knowledge and open more doors for you.
Another thing to consider as an entrepreneur is don’t underestimate your capacity. Believe in yourself and whatever you’re doing. Work on getting better at what you do. Be you, and stay focused. You should ask for advice from others and listen to what you’re capable of doing. Nothing is impossible for you to do. Stay tuned and focused. Plan how you want to go with your business and follow your plan. In business, underestimating yourself is sure the shortest way to failure. Good things come, but they will not come to those that look down on their capabilities. They come to those that persevere. To those that make mistakes, learns from those mistakes and continues. You never have to quit. Quitting is failure, and entrepreneurs believe that failures are lessons to learn along the path of success.
Another thing to consider as an entrepreneur is your action regarding others. Don’t cheat people to your advantage. Don’t take advantage of the situation of others to make yourself better. As an entrepreneur, focus on people you work with as well. Give them what is due them. If you happen to be the employer, pay your employees fairly. Give to them what is due them. Don’t underpay them and expect them to work full-time in their jobs. Build them because your success depends on their work. Treat them with equal respect and be tolerant with them.
