Week 07

Out of the seven habits, I really loved the first part; “be proactive”. In business, being proactive is very key. It changes the stages of the whatever you invest in. We are able to change the course of business when emergencies come along. We have the ability to own our actions. So being proactive means to activity choose what your response will be in any situation rather than to react blindly. Being proactive exposes us to learn and understand the business trends and what is expected of us.

I learned some pretty good stuffs that I want to share out here. There is really something very significant I learned about “Passion and Money” in business. The golden rule is that you don’t enter into business because you want to be rich. That in it sense is beginning of failure. You enter into business to change the world. You venture into business because your services are going to change certain aspects of human life. The focus should be to bring relief to people. Because there are a lot of people that have changed the world with their business but are or were never rich. Riches may come along the way, but should not be your primary focus.

Most entrepreneurs fail in business not because they don’t have ideas or are not smart enough but because their focus was on wealth not passion for the business. So, we they realize the money they expected is not coming, they feel they are losers and failures and end up quitting their business or selling it to others. So, as an entrepreneur, your perception has to change from many money to having passion for it. “No matter how a person works on their attitude, they won’t change if they don’t change perception”.

These are the 7 things in order that can really be helpful to  entrepreneurs;
1. Be proactive
2. Begin with the end in mind
3. Set your priorities and put first things first.
4. Think win and win
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
6. Synergies and,
7. Sharpen the saw. Take time off and nourish yourself spiritually, emotionally and physically.

I look forward to seeing what lesson 8 has to offer. I’m excited for this week’s lessons.
